D.M. STRONG

Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia , Darlene has continued to develop her natural artistic abilities in art, music and literature. She has a Phd in Education and Administration, a published author, artist, musician, singer, educator, and facilitator. Darlene founded the Cumberland County Black Artisans Network and the Cumberland County School of the Arts Society in 1999 and 2002 respective. The influence of her culture is well represented in many of her impressionist genre paintings which have attained national recognition.
