DAVIS, STAN

Stan Davis is a trained photo technician, a retired teacher, an engineering technologist and an inventor of underwater communication systems. 

His interest in photography started with his study of how light is attenuated and changed in velocity as it passes through ocean water. 

He taught underwater photography at the Shelburne Naval Research Station and he taught black and white photography as part of the Industrial Arts program of Amherst Regional High School.

His interest in wildlife stems from years of hunting and his respect for the role hunting plays in wildlife conservation.
