WILES, MARGARET

Margaret was originally born in Leeds (U.K.) and attended the Leeds College of Art for 4 years prior to coming to Canada and now resides in nearby Oxford, NS.

Her professional experiences include drawing up renderings or perspectives from blue prints and producing presentation work for interior designers.  “This background enabled me to produce work that is both illustrative and hard edged!!” she explained.

She is a self-taught watercolorist and progressed to being an avid painter with an expression of love for fishing boats and the water.

Margaret taught watercolor classes for the Halifax Recreation Department for four years and is now teaching classes in her new hometown of Oxford.   She is also available for commissioned work when so requested.
