GOODWIN, KIM

Kim is a self-taught artist who began to paint in 2002. She was born and raised in Amherst and now resides in Truro returning home frequently to visit close family.

Her works are characterized for their funky, folky, rich and dynamic compositions. Whimsicalness – her intensely vivid palette and strong use of colors make her works exciting, impacting and very original.

Kim says that “painting makes me happy and I hope to bring a smile to those who look at my art work as well.”

Kim also sells her artwork at the “Thrown Together Art & Pottery” gallery in Truro, the Halifax Farmer’s Market at the Keith’s Brewery, and at the Bluenose Waterfront Market in Lunenburg. Her paintings can be found in private collections throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, Holland, Scotland, Kuwait and Italy.
