HOTCHKIS,
DARLENE
Inspired by painting of Anna M. Hotchkis (Scotland), Aunt of her late husband Dick, Darlene in her 60’s began painting in watercolor.
She enjoyed lessons with Faye Pike and Mount Allison’s Linda Dornan in drawing.
She became a member of the Sackville Art Association’s “Thursday Afternoon Painters” with gifted and caring instructor, Joan Gregory.
Darlene’s creative expression has developed through Joan and the workshops with the following recoginized artists: Jack Read, Alice Reed, Ron Hazell, Nicole Foreman, Julie Bouillane, Margaret Roseman, Henry Vyfinkle, and Peter Humeniuk.
Colour, nature and her deep awareness of God’s constant love is reflected in her paintings.
For additional information on the artist, please contact the Foundation office and they will arrange contact with the artist for you.
