COLLICOTT, GILBERT

Gil has been drawing and sketching for most of his life and has been creating art pieces for the past seventeen years. Working primarily in water colours, Gil also has a background in photography and many local people may remember having their pictures produced by him.

A native of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Gil has been living in Amherst for more than 40 years where he raised his family.

An exhibitor at Owens Art Gallery in Sackville, New Brunswick and a member of the Sackville Arts Association, Gil donates regularly to a variety of charities – of which the Cumberland Health Care Foundation has been fortunate to be a recipient of his artwork for its events.
