THE GIFT OF ART

AMHERST, NS (November 26, 2009) – The Cumberland Health Care Art Galleries located on the main floor of the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre is currently displaying for sale a wide range of County artists as part of its “Gift of Art” holiday exhibit.

“With less than a month until Christmas Day, it’s that time of year when we start that search for something special for someone in our lives”, said the Cumberland Health Care Foundation’s Managing Director, Joe Gauthier, “it’s a great opportunity to pick up that unique gift from the art galleries or to visit the Auxiliary gift shop.”
Framed pieces of acrylic, oil, and watercolor art are available from the works of the following 26 artists:

The Cumberland Health Care Art Gallery has a total of four galleries at the regional hospital with a portion of each sale going towards the purchase of new or replacement medical equipment at the county’s regional hospital.
