Amherst Fire Department Assocation Ladies Auxiliary donation

The Amherst Fire Fighters Association Ladies Auxiliary raised $3,500 from its weekly 50/50 draws at Friday night bingo last year, and has donated the proceeds to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre's palliative care unit. On hand for the cheque presentation were, l-r, Cumberland Health Care Foundation chairman Phyllis Cameron, AFFA auxiliary president Christine MacDonald and Dr. Carolyn Atkinson, palliative care consultant.
