Highland Classic Enters 15TH Year!!

The annual Highland Classic is entering its 15th year and will be held on Friday, August 13th, 2010 at the Amherst Golf Club in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Funds raised will support the mission of the Cumberland Health Care Foundation:
“To enhance the provision of a high standard of health care within Cumberland County by raising funds and supporting new and improved services, programs, equipment and facilities."
The compassionate and supportive actions of donors, dedicated golfers, corporate sponsors, and volunteers of the Highland Classic Tournament have helped to benefit thousands of Cumberland County hospital patients over the years.
Monies raised have enabled the Foundation to support a county-wide volunteer program benefitting five hospital sites and the services of mental health, palliative care, primary care health and public health. Funds have also supported equipment purchases and the costs associated with the ongoing provision of an outdoor healing & respite garden for patients and hospital visitors.
